estimateCallCostUSD(providerId, modelId, promptChars, maxOutputTokens): number | undefined

An estimate of the most a call could cost: its prompt's assumed tokens at the input rate and its output cap at the output rate (DEFAULT_OUTPUT_ESTIMATE_TOKENS when it names none, or a cap of NaN), a cap above the model's known output ceiling counted at the ceiling. The rates are the model's row's. OpenAI bills a prompt of more than 272,000 tokens on its models with a 1,050,000-token context window at twice the input rate and one and a half times the output rate; OpenAIProvider's reported cost carries those rates and this estimate does not, so such a call can cost up to twice its estimate. Undefined when the provider's model has no price row (only OpenAI's table is known here).
