startAgentOSSpan(name, options?): Span | null

Starts an AgentOS span. Only string, number and boolean attributes, and arrays of them, are kept.

The span's name.

The span's kind and attributes.

Span | null

The started span, or null while tracing is off or content-safe telemetry is on.
